´De Gouden Engel' is a special ship. She was built in 1919 as a sailing botter for fishermen from Den Helder. She has a rich past. The DAF engine was installed in 1967 and in 1972 she was decommissioned from the fishing fleet. Since then she has been sailing as a yacht. There is a lot of living space on board. For example, there is a fully-fledged kitchen, a washing machine and a dryer. There is central heating, which makes staying on board very pleasant and comfortable. Because of the living space she is very suitable for permanent residence
